There's many Tree of Life web app visualizations out there but this is my absolute favorite, and it's criminally underrated:

Try finding humans from this 2-billion-year zoomed out version! Took me some scrolling and zooming, and the photo is a nice Easter egg :P!
I love this because it emphasizes the concestor (common ancestor) notion—you can use this to quickly tell that whales and hippos (closely related, believe it or not) lived ~44 million years ago.
Lovely.
@forteller You have better instincts than me! The first time I heard that the closest living animal to whales/dolphins were hippos, I flipped out!
@22 Come on. Just look at them! Hippos looks like land whales! :D
@forteller "Land whales"—I love it! Going the other way works too, whales are "ocean hippos" too 🤣 maybe a bit uncharitable to the dolphins and porpoises though 🐬
One of these is not like the rest… “There is a spy among us” say the camels, the pigs, the hippos, the deer, the cows, the rhinos 😂

(The photos are taken as representative of potentially several species, so do browse! #Biology wins.)
@22 I have absolutely no problem believing whales and hippos are closely related
