given how terribly transphobic and gender-essentialist and, heck, misogynistic the show's handling of missy was??? i don't want to go through that again
and also it was homophobic???? apparently the doctor and master can kiss but only if one of them stops being a boy

@Nafrondel yeah, that's promising! it's a difficult situation to handle well, and that's concerning, but removing the man who has specifically proven he can't handle it well is reassuring at least :3
@00dani im hopeful that things will be Less Bad under the new showrunner
but yeah, there are so many opportunities for the show to drop the ball here (especially given the doctor has a wife in canon now too)
