@polychrome @amberf @lynnesbian On earlier versions of Windows, if Windows Update ran out of space, it'd just stop & wait for user input.
But Windows 10 will automatically delete non-Windows partitions to make room for the update without even letting the user know what it did, let alone ask permission first. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/windows-update-delete-linux/
