If you're living on planet Earth, I highly recommend you listen to this podcast episode from Hardcore History. This guy makes history relatable and moralizing. This episode is specifically about the Cuban Missile Crisis, which seems like it's hardly acknowledged anymore despite being a potentially world ending event (only time to date the US entered DEFCON 2).
