@lukas
May be RSS might just do it ?

In mastodon, is it possible to list/view the local toots (of another account) that are replies to some other toot ?
(Because afaik, these replies are not listed in the public timeline...)

Any code to hack the baseband of a mobile, to create offgrid mesh ?

@schestowitz isn't it weird that Micro$oft is afraid that leaks of his source code may be exploited, while the whole code of linux is open and is secure ? Does it mean that M's code is really that bad ??

@dataKnightmare didn't notice English has no subjunctive form... But I'm not proficient enough in English grammar to notice this kind of stuff anyway 😎

@dataKnightmare It is a compliment :-)
My grandpas were italian. But I don't speak a word of Italian. Anyway, languages are just another kind of data...
ciao !

@dataKnightmare OK, I found your French a bit weird at first ;-)
But you're English ? Congrats for your French then ?

@dataKnightmare oui Xavier Delaporte est un excellent chroniqueur. Je l'ecoute depuis plusieurs années et c'est souvent juste et plein d'humour :-)

@rt1831 Right. but there's still one way for to fail: it's that everybody leaves it, and there's no successor. But I agree it's very unlikely, seeing previous examples of or even which maybe more than 20 yo and still exists although not very popular ;-)

yeah.. long live mastodon !

in experimental sciences, you don't need confidence intervals if you replicate your experiments on several datasets and conditions.

@alatitude77 they are certainly not the most important talks about to watch, but some are fairly good !

v0.9 is out on F-droid. It's a beta client for that is specialized in multiple instances: it allows to quickly switch between accounts while keeping accounts clearly separated (contrary to ).

It's also lightweight & low-end device friendly (Android 2.3+) and is the only native android app that is SSL-bugfree and can connect to any Mastodon instance.

@xtof54 So I've a new *reply* function in my *android* app that does not link to the original toot in the metadata so that the reply still appears on the public timeline. Instead, the original sender is @-mentioned and the URL of the original toot is inserted at the end, just like here...

@lord non je ne vois aucune colonne, mais tu dois avoir webengine comme back-end pour ton qutebrowser ? Car j'ai seulement webkit et ça peut venir du back-end mon soucis

@lord As-tu réussi à accéder à avec ? Quand je me connecte, je n'ai qu"un écran gris :-/

@McKael Yep MouseApp on github. But aren't we already connected via another one of my accounts ? ;-) I liketo have 4 or 5 of them. I'm gonna try your madonctl cli right now because I'm really fed up with my lagging browser...

@McKael don't kow it :-/ heard about it thu, getting more and more used. But I dont feel an urge to switch for now... python and java for android fill my needs for now
