Last night I hooked up with Wallace Roberts (right), a fellow developer who lives in Casa Grande. I happened to be in Tucson the rest of this week, so we met half-way at a taco shop in Marana called, "Nico's". Wallace is a good guy, great sense of humor. That's his wife in the background. First world problems right here.
Took a ride up the coast today, it was so beautiful, and SO packed. Traffic, no parking and road closures. MEH.
Found a cute brew pub we hadn't been to before, so yay for that.
Mastadon feel like a party where I don't know anyone. "I should talk to people... now I'm talking to someone! Crap, am I talking too much? I should fake diarrhea so they have an excuse to break away..."
I think tonight is a bbq night. Veg for me, sausages for the dude. I'm really not up for something with effort, I've had a long week!

There is something which scares me on mastodon. I see more and more people installing instances while they don't have a clue about what they're doing.
Then their instance is going to be listed on the website and people will be randomly redirected toward them when someone wants to use mastodon.
But then what happen?
Hosting someone's services is not fun or anything. It's a liability and I hope you have that in mind.
