@nivex ICQ is run by a Russian company now anyway. I moved to XMPP years ago but it was never adopted by people in the same numbers

@x00 The IM space fragmented all to heck, especially when mobile really took off. I'm on at least 5 different IM systems (including XMPP) now to keep up with all my friends.
