Writing a software patch. While writing it, I suddenly remember that I had already finished it and submitted a pull-request.
@daniel_bohrer Just had a similar situation: Needed a patch 5 years ago but maintainer didn't want to merge, so I found a workaround.
Now I needed the same patch again... 😉
