OK, not a flower, but still, interesting texture and shape. It's called tinder fungus.

This is one of my favourite pictures from my walk on Thursday. It is a kind of moss, very ordinary from a distance but in close-up it looks amazing.

Another delicate woodland flower, common wood sorrel.

More flowers to come, but first two more pictures of mostly clouds.

This flower has the beautiful name lesser celandine, but is more commonly known as pilewort.

A waterfall on the moor. I like it because it shows how the moor is really a thick blanket of peat covering rocky hills.

Views over the Firth of Clyde from the hills above Craigendoran.

Some pictures from a walk I made on Thursday: primrose, coltsfoot, and a woodland flower for which I have no name.

Cherry blossoms. If you look close you'll see a kind of charm with a blue bead entwined with the branch.

A final dwarf cherry picture. But with a bit of luck and sunshine, more real later.

The flowers on the dwarf cherry tree are as good as gone, even though the big cherry trees aren't even blooming yet. So these are the final 湖上の舞の桜 of the season.

This one is very nice too, I'm not sure what it actually is.

But then the "real" cherry trees aren't in bloom yet, the plum blossoms are only just out. And of course we have !

The petals of the dwarf cherry tree have started to fall off. Soon, no more 湖上の舞 pictures.

The entrance of the St-Enoch subway station in at night, taken with my old mobile.

Dwarf cherry blossoms and blue sky.

Cherry blossoms in close-up, aren't they lovely (II). 🌸

Some intentionally blurry cherry blossoms. 🌸
