A little bit further on, in the park surrounding the Gartnavel Royal Hospital.

The valley of the river Kelvin in Dawsholm park.
This is park is really a small wood, no lawns or flowerbeds.

Another view of the Kelvin, the one I'm most happy with. The weather was dark and this is an uncorrected image because it does reflect the atmosphere.

A bit further is the Garscube estate which belongs to the University of Glasgow. It has some thoughtfully designed gardens.
The dry heads of the blue globe thistle are very photogenic, and the red maple in the background is a nice bonus.

One of the best things of this walk: I found a ginkgo! A small one, but nevertheless.

A final ginkgo picture to end this walk through .
Thank you for watching ^_^
