Some blossoms from last weekend, when the weather was not so nice yet. At the Kelvingrove museum in there are these cherry trees that blossom much earlier than most others, at the same time as the plum trees.


This is a Martenitsa, an mainly Bulgarian custom. It's an ornament in red and blue thread with two tiny puppets, worn until the wearer sees a blossoming tree to leave them in. This one is from last year though, totally worn and faded.

The final shot from that day is a delicate pink plum blossom.
