The flowers themselves are also quite pretty, but I don't know their name.

@wim_v12e It's a Lantana camara, in German it's called Wandelröschen, which means little changing rose.

@wim_v12e Yes it is. But we can only have it in pots. It wouldn't survive our winters here.
It has a nice perfume, too.

@wim_v12e @Nasenspray

Yes, it's Lantana camara. I see it a lot in the wild here in Singapore too.

@wim_v12e
Did you take these photos to-day or are they "library" pictures? No butterflies up here for the last few weeks.

@fitheach I was in Greece for two weeks, now posting backlog.

@fitheach I saw butterflies today in the forest. It was a warm and sunny day. @wim_v12e

@wim_v12e ugh. I'm sorry. If it's a little consolation for you: the nice weather and the vine harvesting season attract lots of tourists and I hate that. I had to share my beloved forest with hordes of them. Normally you can hike quite alone in the Palatinate Forest. @fitheach

@wim_v12e
There is something to be said for incessant rain and midgies: it keeps the numbers down.

@Nasenspray

@wim_v12e, it looks very natural and vivid on this photography. :O

@valdecast Thank you very much, Valde. I have some more, will post them later.
