after making billions of dollars fanning tech addiction, we seek a technology solution to the problem of tech addiction, which we feel should net us a considerable profit

@walruslifestyle just in time for the next crash, which we'll have divested from by then.

*waits for the next ponzi scheme*

i think the "corn tie revolution" is going to be huge, myself. corn ties for everybody. "corn coin". "coin futures". "post corn economy." viablity of corn debate. cornploits.

@walruslifestyle in a lot of ways, if the crash just happened and stayed that way...it'd be something, at least

as it is, there's the decimation of the crash...followed by more decimation, of both same and different varities as part of "recovery".

then, it happens all over again. shrugs

@shoutcacophony it feels like a gambler's ruin situation. it might oscillate, sometimes wildly, possibly for a long time, but it has to crash forever eventually. what do I know tho

@walruslifestyle i've seen it happen 2.5 times since i first started working in tech, as well as another crash-like slowdown that was at a state-level. there also were at least two crashes in the 1980s, both of which were purely based on speculation, greed and over-reaching. so...

@walruslifestyle (the 0.5 is for the multimedia industry, which never took off enough to be a viable industry to speak of, but crashed nonetheless)

@walruslifestyle
- create tech ecosystem highly addictive and full of toxic design
- make it a monopoly and bind billion of users to it
- when outcry raises to more and more issues popping up, provide vanilla solutions which still make it impossible for uses to escape said ecosystem
- profit

@charlyblack sounds perfect I would like to invest in your startup
