Did Mastodon raise huge funding? Every media write about it, and it looks like good prepared and well funded launch campaign. Media coverage is so massive as it was for Pokemon go.

I see same hype as for peach app. first week everyone write how it cool and what its something new and interesting and after 1 week app was almost empty... how do you think how long people will be active in mastodon: 1. week 2. month 3. long time ?
