#latex friends pls help me
I want to make this distance smaller in \makeletterhead in moderncv between my name + contact info and the recipient/date line
How do I do this?? Stack exchange is failing me
@martensitingale @vickysteeves My first guess would be a negative \vspace, too, maybe wedged into the recipient text if necessary.
@martensitingale I did try that, I just can't figure out WHERE to place the \vpsace because everywhere I've tried doesn't work (in my cv.tex file and in moderncvheadiii.sty)

@vickysteeves Put blank lines at the bottom? Perhaps it's an autofit issue.
@vickysteeves Just wanted to come here to appreciate LaTeX. Perfect for easily type-setting entire manuscripts effortlessly, but try moving a tiny piece of text slightly in one direction...
@vickysteeves I have no idea what the right way is but in the past I've moved mountains with \vspace{-2em} and such, so... have you tried that?
