@zeezeemoomoo whenever people pull the shit of "queer is a slur" I remind people that queer was a term that existed far before LGBT and that the term was quashed out because they didn't want cis gay people to be seen as "abnormal"

also lots of marginalised groups' names get used as a slur, and more often than not "gay" was the slur people used against me when I was young. does that stop me from using the term? no, it really fucking doesn't
