on a Mac, how do i convert .mov to a more standard format such as .mp4 or .webm

easier, command line solution, install ffmpeg via homebrew or download it, then
$ ffmpeg -i file.mov file.mp4/webm

uh I'm pretty sure ffmpeg does the best conversion, but idk

am thinking, with handbrake, the default convert would probably result better parameters? ...
