It would be great if mastodon could sort out federated toots by language. I like seeing toots from Japan, but not that I can't read.
@curtomil personally I like it, feels more international - like sitting on a bus somewhere like London. Good to be reminded of my own inadequacy of knowing only English.

@curtomil living in Belfast it's a rare delight to hear another dialect never mind language lol. I really miss big cosmopolitan areas too. I think that's what I like about this app... there's something great about the lack of algorithms and "ai" that turned twitter into an echo chamber.
