@RealCiderReviews Have you tasted Apfelwein, the German equivalent to cider?
@turi not from Germany but last weekend I was at a cidery open day in Australia. The cider maker had one in the style. It was pretty good.
@RealCiderReviews I guess it is pretty hard to get original Apfelwein outside the Rhein/Main region. The Speyerling (a kind of fruit similar to apples), that gives it is characteristic taste, does not really grow somewhere else.
But here its common and my favorite alcoholic beverage.
@turi I don't think I have every seen a German cider of any style in Australia. I'm regularly in all the bottle in Sydney that specialise in important education and hard to find wine, beers and ciders. If three couple of shops don't have them it's safe to say nobody is importing then.
