@Kdvr :joy: I know that OS. I mean, I never tried it but I know the project. So strange. :smile:
@tiphra given risc os or openbsd a go? Certainly a learning experience
@tiphra Me too! Some I've been wanting to tinker with lately:
- Qubes https://www.qubes-os.org/
- ReactOS http://reactos.org/
- Haiku https://www.haiku-os.org/
@jalefkowit I tried Haiku on virtualbox. It's basicaly BeOS but with another name. I really liked BeOS back in the days. Too bad Haiku is so short on apps.
@tiphra
Just a suggestion: try it other way round - look for strange pieces of computer hardware and match & try running some favorite OS-es... 😀
@bumbar Sounds like a fun project. I have to try that. :smile:
@tiphra
I'm considering trying some old Amiga system, (I never got the chance of actually own one) and running its operating system - I hear these are still quite supported even with some quite modern software capable to run on them...I don't mind the relative speed handicap...
@grainloom Thanks. I'll check that.
@tiphra you could always get into templeos haha https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TempleOS
