Waiting for a compile of the gcc compiler to finish. Never knew compiles could take so long.

So I recently took on the task of learning programming, web development specifically. I have designed a few websites in the past but not seriously. But now I wanted to pursue it as a career. I previously wanted to pursue filmmaking as a career which has been going well, but filmmaking takes a long time before you start making money with it whereas web programming can give you a junior position in a company just starting out. Though I may start out freelancing.

So what's the best Mastodon app for Android? I've installed Tusky, Tootdon, and Mastolab (which I havent signed into with). Also, the web app looks great. The web site (octodon.social) also asked if I wanted to install an app called "Octodon" which is not on the app store. Anyone know where it comes from?

Fireworks are going off tonight. I love listening to fireworks.

On Mastodon I'm always "darn toot'in right".

Particles have waveforms. Photons have waveforms. Even molecules have waveforms. So do people have waveforms? If you have a crowd of people is the distribution of people go according to a "random" distribution? (We're talking quantum mechanics here!)

‪Now it doesn't make sense to have a like button really. Nobody really knows what they like until they've thought about and experienced it for a while. Now a favorite button makes sense‬... if you could come back to it two hours later.

I'm really hyped about the Infinity Stone movie from Marvel. You can see this manmade trailer here: https://youtu.be/6fothfUmryQ. I know its only fanmade, but it shows the power of editing. Pretty cool.

It seems movie trailers are made for young people with insatiable appetites for fast paced stories. I'm a young person myself so I can understand. But I find the mind-blowing music and visuals jarring and unenchanting. Does anybody identify with me?

I realized today that I don't have to rewrite my screenplay to make it more "professional". It's actually better in it's original form. I was worried that it wouldn't be good enough, but my changes to try to make it better actually made it worse. So much for professionalism. #screenwriting

I used to wonder why people ask you to subscribe in their YouTube videos. I mean, I usually don't subscribe unless I want to see more of your videos. I think it's because people just wouldn't do it unless you told them to. People are dumb like that sometimes.
