@Siphonay @inmysocks Yes, I've seen that. People don't join a stigmatised minority so they can escape privilege. It's downright silly 🤦‍♂️. BTW you don't need their opinion to be valid, and really, if people feel entitled to "validate" other people around them, whatever the reason, they don't have a clue what acceptance means.

@inmysocks @Siphonay honestly I don't see why people insist on defining other people and their behaviour. Being a good neighbor means that you should live and let live, be kind and friendly. A person is the best suited to define themselves, let them do that. Even if you don't agree. Even if you think that's dumb. That won't harm you. We don't have any interest in shaping them in our mold. 😉

@Siphonay I think I've seen what you're talking about. It awfully looks like "bi people don't exist: they're either straight but trying to sound cool or gay but too afraid to admit it".

With the recent data scandals and the following realization by the public that a few companies have access to basically all our virtual identities, I feel like it would be time for Mozilla to re-launch their O-auth "sign in with Persona" feature. All we have now are facebook and google connect, sometimes birdsite. On tech stuff, github.

I like browsing the local timeline. It's really just like neighbors: it's not your family and friends, yet it's lively, open and reassuring. I'm picturing a nice, noisy street with a lot of chitchat and kind people.

Little by little, my Mastodon timeline expands. Artists, writers, gamers, tech artists (also known as programmers, but common, that's a better denomination), cat lovers, sysadmins and such. I love y'all.

@CobaltVelvet hey, just so you know, I've got some minor responsiveness problems on mobile (Nexus 5X, firefox focus, which uses the android chrome webview). Otherwise the offer looks neat ;)

I got a pull-up bar setup in my office. Testing the game I'm porting to Xbox One involves long build/transfer/load times before being playable on the system.

When I'm waiting for the process to finish, I do some pull ups, so that all this time wasted for actual work makes me stronger. 💪
