@ti It seems very economically focused, not socially progressive. Most anarchists I've seen use their power to stomp out people they hate.

@jookia There are a few different strains of anarchism. I considered myself a socialist anarchist for a bit which is what the Anarchist FAQ is based on. Which is basically just socialist leanings but without a state. Then I decided government is a pretty good idea. I was probably more left from the get go though

My friend at the time went full blown libertarian last I'd talked to him.

@ti I just wish there was a term for believing 'don't oppress people and you're cool', which seemed to be what anarchism was.
@ti But then you bring up ideas like 'hey maybe we shouldn't lock up psychopaths when they've done nothing wrong' and anarchists go bananas
@ti Like racists, anarchists often still think that existence for fringe groups is a crime. Just not for LGBT/black people
