someone commented on my Mastodon-iPad-apps-test on Medium[1] asking about alternatives to Tootdon (you probably heard), so I'm thinking of doing another big test! Got the apps installed, but the number of features I look for might not be the same you look for, so please tell me what you want in a Mastodon phone app!

My daughter has lived with me for nearly 10 years and still doesn't grasp how much of what I say should not be taken seriously.
The small avatar always made me think @gargron was looking up with a big, cartoonish smile, but it turns out that's the nose and the actual mouth is lower and makes him look pensive and now I don't understand what's going on here anymore...

And I'm not on any great crusade here. I'm keeping #Instagram and #Twitter for now. One I use to see pics from friends and family, the other is to keep up with news.
But I don't interact with either as much, and both are at least a little less invasive.
Couldn't take the indecision anymore. What's the point in keeping my account if I never want to log onto the website? So I just deleted it.

Trying to have a quality thought about popularity and growth on here but honestly uh I don't have much to contribute to that?
Maybe all the people on here who haven't been donating to their server can start pitching in a dollar here or there now that they're the old users, to help cover the added load of the new users. Asking people who just signed up to contribute is poor manners.
Ask your admin how you can help. Maybe they don't need it, but I bet they do.
