Steps for getting my Toshiba Satellite Pro C50t-B-110 laptop to work:

- upgrade to Debian GNU/Linux 9 Stretch (Linux kernel 4.9)

- pass intel_idle.max_cstate=1 kernel parameter to prevent Bay Trail freezes
- pass modprobe.blacklist=ehci_hcd,ehci_pci kernel parameter to prevent USB controller hang-ups

- upgrade to libdrm-intel1 2.4.81 for successful resuming from hibernation

Debian 9 stretch is dedicated to the project's founder Ian Murdock, who passed away http://qttr.at/1vd1 #releasingstretch
