@setavulos yea, a fair bit of QP, also good amount of deathmatch since i can just pay attention to specifically what i'm doing and not strategy really. but that gets boring after too long, so i'm mixing it up

@tcql i think i might pick up tracer since i like her and think i would be happy playing as her. i’d just have to learn cooldown management for abilities. have you found that an issue on new heroes you’re learning? it took me a bit to start to understand timing with zarya’s bubbles to maintain charge, for instance

@setavulos 😊 yea! it's good to have somebody to gush about this stuff with, i feel like i'm a little overly obsessive for most of my coworkers (even the ones who also like overwatch)

@setavulos oh ya it takes awhile. even on heroes i'm familiar with, i'm still a little iffy on getting my timing good. like i'll often over-aggressively zip in with moira's dash, then get in trouble and *think* i should be able to get away but nope, it's still another 3 seconds before i have dash back...

tracer is similar, i keep expecting to be able to zip around more frequently than i really can, taking some time to dial in better

@setavulos my tip with respect to changing sensitivity stuff though is to be patient, you might see a decrease in performance at first because all your normal reflexes are gonna be out of whack. i'm about a week in to the switch, and it takes me some time to warm things up still, but once i really get going i'm definitely doing better/being more consistent

@tcql yeah i think i’m gonna give it about 3-5 hours with same settings but mouse acceleration off and then start tweaking the sensitivity. unfortunately a busy semester means that overwatch will probably be like once a week but i’m hoping to do as best as i can anyway! 💪🏻
