me, 6 months ago: WOW mastodon gives you 500 characters! I can write out coherent thoughts in one message instead of threading mini-thoughts
me, now: *writes toots stream-of-consciousness style so it takes me 4 toots to complete a thought and the average number of characters per toot is < 100*
