anybody else find it really unsettling when people pronounce "daemon" as "demon"?

@tcql Really? I always say "demon" (or worse, the german "Dämon"), but I like it because I imagine myself, root, as the wizard who controls them and conjures them as needed. :-D
@trulla hmmm I suppose that's fair... but I tend to think of demons as errrr unruly minions? I'd like my daemons to stay put and do what they're supposed to

@tcql "Laplace's Demon" is also basically a servant mindlessly doing things, so I think it kinda fits to say "demon"? ^^
