Folks who are missing a "translate" feature on mastodon. Install the Google Translate app on your phones or extension on your browsers.

@tcql mastadon needs an API for the users Locale so it can allow apps to do translation easier.

@angryjello at least on android, the Google translate app integrates in a similar way with Chrome mobile
It's tbh not very good with japanese (or really... much of anything...). Many translations are nonsense. But it's occasionally readable and interesting.
