just discovered some LA'ers say "La Croix" like "La Crah"
I've heard "La Croy" (correct)
and "La Qua" (tryna be fancy)
but how what how?
@tcql like i think that's the closest you can get to the french pronunciation while still only using english sounds
@tcql like, crwa - cr as in crew, wa as in... water but lighter and the a more like "ah" than "oh"

The company suggests the rhyme "Enjoy La Croix" to say the name correctly

Problem is that english native speakers (apart from Afrikaaner speaking South Africans) are UNABLE to pronounce correctly the freaking "R".😉
As well as a few of the french diphtongs ("oi" being one).
@tcql @CobaltVelvet that is the most awful thing I've ever read. (Canadian; my French is terrible, but I know how stuff is pronounced)
