@benhamill The best I've found are bras that fit perfectly in the store, and start squeezing your lungs the moment you go home and sit down. If I ever feel like I can afford a proper bra again (aka when I'm fully employed and might need a bra for going-to-work purposes), I'm going wire-free; until that time, Walmart sells camisoles.

@benhamill Bras are a lot like shoes in that way, except that shoes can get more comfortable over time.

@DialMforMara Yeah. I found that Chuck Taylors break in suuuuuuuuuuper comfortably on my feet and have been wearing nothing else since high school. If only people could do that with bras.

@tcql @DialMforMara @benhamill They're up there. Almost-pockets are pretty bad, too. I have a pair of pants that spits out my cell phone when I sit down if I put it in a front "pocket".

@tcql @DialMforMara @benhamill Fake/tiny pockets are the devil! Since I stopped wearing jeans, pockets became hard to find. Can't wear cargo pants to work...

@DialMforMara Oh my god. Pockets. I wear women's jeans (am v skinny and most men's jeans assume some kind of belly or butt) and have a tailor that will deepen the pockets for me on the cheap. Else my phone and car keys would be on the ground constantly.

@benhamill I am wide in the hips and have been considering buying men's pants. The trouble would be finding pants short enough.

@DialMforMara You might want to check out Decent Exposures--made to order (i.e. if you need adjustments they can make them), not too expensive, and comfortable. And no wires. Downside: they're not cute.
