@tats have you read any from Robin Hobb? reading Liveship Traders at the moment and loving it (Farseer trilogy comes first but may not be necessary..?) I'd always recommend the Gormenghast books (first two at least, after that they're unfinished but excellent audio adaptation recently from BBC)... what do you like?
My phone is dead and my laptop is at 9%, but Dino the Elderly Chihuahua is snuggled into the crook of my arm and sleep-whines every time I move. I'm trapped by a kilo or so of warm, furry love. Send help and an extension cord, please.
It's 10:30 on a Friday night and I'm in bed, scrolling through Mastodon, watching Doctor Who, and cuddling my elderly chihuahua. Life is good.
