I really like pretty water bottles. Like, really really.

...is having one for dragonboating, one for coffee, and one for everyday water a little too much? There is also the glass one that unscrews to become a wide mouth jar, which I feel deserves my support... For, yknow, smoothies and soup and stuff. Which I don't bring around right now. But theoretically could.

I need to stop buying water bottles. But! Bottles!

@wishx compromise! Lying in bed, WITH the dog (Having a chihuahua has its perks.) I assume this will get the job done.

@tariqk wise words! I don't feel bad about feeling bad, but I would rather feel not-bad as soon as possible, if that makes sense.

Unsure if that counts as Suppressing Feelings, in which case being kind to myself in the long run involves savoring the sad, or if hi, I'm sad, cool, let's do stuff now is an optional option.

I've settled for a compromise - tidying the house then cuddling with the dog in bed. Feeling Feelings but living la vida... Adult?

@SK3MO hello! I like those. Also making lists. And office supplies. Not sure how that's relevant but maybe it is.

So my last session with my therapist basically had her tell me that suppressed feelings are the cause of my troubles. I'm taking that as advice to Feel All the Feelings.

Except I feel bad now, and I could Feel All the Feelings and curl up in bed, or I could go do something like play with my dog and read a book to make me feel better.

I've read arguments for both. What do you guys do?

Just walked onto campus and there's a Battle of the Bands event. The kids are in heels and short dresses and makeup. The band is playing... Avril Lavigne's "Complicated?" wait

He got off (the train) at my stop! Walked to the other exit, but perhaps one day we shall meet again.

Or at least, he will play with his hair and I will watch him longingly/creepily again. Same same.
