So my last session with my therapist basically had her tell me that suppressed feelings are the cause of my troubles. I'm taking that as advice to Feel All the Feelings.
Except I feel bad now, and I could Feel All the Feelings and curl up in bed, or I could go do something like play with my dog and read a book to make me feel better.
I've read arguments for both. What do you guys do?
@tats Book and dog. Acknowledge that the feels are still there, that they exist under the surface, but wallowing doesn't seem any healthier. Denial of feelings seems worse.
