Today's project: finding embarrassing errors in my latest thesis draft!

this is what happens when spend all of spring break working on your thesis.

I'm somehow obsessed with the idea that today is both a somber religious holiday and an extravagant commercial holiday. Part of me feels like there's something kind of queer about the combination, despite neither holiday being particularly so. Either way, I think I'm about to make some smoky heart-shaped gingersnaps.

It occurs to me now ðat I misspelled anoðer.

My advisor's advisor introduced a notion called þorn-forking along with one of his students (apparently at some point he needed anoþer variable name in class and somebody suggested þorn). Þeories in which þorn-forking works are called "rosy".

The other part leaves me more conflicted. I love Wilson Cruz (total fan). I am beyond pissed to have seen them kill his character but knowing that he's still on the show means I want to keep watching.

Part of this is the obvious, i.e., that despite their public claims to have all the beat things planned, they just keep killing off POC characters. Fuck that.

I finally watched last weeks STD and my husband kindly put up with me having a full-on fit. I have never been so angry with a TV show.
