Hey I made some graphs today on my journey to make some models of when lodgepole pine makes pollen and is receptive to pollen. Let's say you have three phenological phases like "working on making flowers but you can't see anything yet" "flowering" and "done flowering" or 0,1,2. As it warms up, individuals gradually transition from one stage to the next. That's the S shaped lines in the graph and the dots are n indivs in a given phase at that amount of warming.

Finally getting around to making those beans and greens (with a nice meaty ham hock.)

I've got a lot of problems, but bad hair isn't one of them.

I make it almost every week.

Quiche is fast and easy, esp if you leave off the crust. It is a tasty breakfast or lunch or dinner and you can change the flavors a lot. It's pretty cheap to make. You can make at least 2 at once in a normal sized oven. It freezes well. It uses up bits of cheese and leftover veg and that bacon that's starting to be a bit questionable.

And it totally saves me when I'm having lots of migraines and am too sick/tired/busy to cook. #cooking

Got stuck on my model so redrew it like I was modeling a Markov process. I'm not sure it's really appropriate because the probabilities aren't constant (?????), but clarifying nonetheless. Less clarifying - my super inconsistent notation.
