@Pedalville @SobaFett It's because "skirt suit" was the default for women in offices, so "pant suit" was the variation. Women weren't allowed to wear trousers in many office jobs and even fancy restaurants well into the 1970s. Old fashion terms die hard, I guess.
It's fun to sometimes check out the federated universe. And that's it. Its value is low to me now, it's not easy to find English toots, even harder to find English toots worth reading. I'm getting 3 Japanese toots per second, some of them with anime child porn, luckily not that many as a few days ago. I guess I have to find other way of finding interesting people and toots. I don't say that's bad, I just can't any more use FOSS social networks the way I used to use them when they were small.
