I'm not convinced this isn't an April 1 paper. They tabulate encryption and decryption times on an insanely powerful computer ("lattice0") with 3TB of *RAM* + 4.9TB of swap. The table stops at 256GB key size, and 100 hours "wall clock time". The same table shows that they were not able to decrypt a message with a key larger than 32GB, which took 17 hours. But, hey, they show it's probably resistant to Shor and their new GEECM algorithm. #crypto #bignumbers
