status: really, really wanting to pick up a switch and BOTW. But also this video is pretty good, asking the question "where does the game *reside*" which had not occurred to me before.

the last bit of the ornament (which is the bottom) came out a bit weird... time lapse video of the printing process below.

I'm not a big christmas person, but I love how christmas ornaments are an excuse to things to give away . Yesterday, an ornament with 6 nested stars (below and thingiverse.com/thing:579088).

Next up, a "twisty" ornament thingiverse.com/thing:2672997

anyone have recommendations for good, super easy to use wiki or documentation software or services?

i have a team of non-technical folks and want to gather the onboarding and reference docs for them. probably less than 30 pages of stuff, so mediawiki is heavy-handed (and a bit ugly), but google docs is a bit messy and i have to send invites, etc.

what tools do you all fancy for team stuff?

Setting: a beautiful futuristic skyscraper-jungle-city.

Criminals have figured out how to suborn governmental controls on the cloning/life extension vats, which every wealthy person has at home.

When targeted by the criminal gang, a rich old guy comes out of the process as a big fat lazy tabby cat, and a criminal takes on their appearance, identity, and (of course) wealth.

I, a junior officer in the secret tech police, stumble on their operation, but I'm caught and killed.

@sivy @oreolek hmm their example does show the ".html" suffix in the frontmatter's permalink:, weird.

@sivy @oreolek hmm I'm a bit in the dark here, but from the gitlab howto document I don't think the committed-to-git filename is supposed to have ".well-known", but rather the generated page knows where to go because of the permalink: in the front matter. "Just create a file in your blog folder that looks like this: ..."

@sivy I haven't done it myself, but I found these instructions and it looks like an absolute SLOG that breaks the best part of a functioning letsencrypt installation: automatic updates by cron.

If my companion is wearing "fortify carry weight" items, can I actually hand them more junk to carry for me? Yes, and the story of gameplay in the bet answer is amusing.

@emdeesee @DialMforMara not feeling creative? I'd go for "it would violate the terms of my house arrest", say...

Guy from Spectrum just knocked on my door.

He said, "I'm from Spectrum. You're one of just a very few on <My> Street who isn't a Spectrum subscriber, and Spectrum has sent me to you to find out why that is."

Bad approach. Super creepy and off putting.

Good evening. Today, I was amazingly bisexual.

@vfrmedia @pho4cexa @ajroach42 In the USA it depends on your plan. Most major networks offer plans with unlimited SMS and in-country calling (and sometimes even "unlimited data", even though that's generally a lie). Personally, I'm on a plan with a lower base price but for example 1000 texts cost $5 above the base price. For my usage style, it's cheaper overall than "unlimited" plans.

@starbreaker Because 'ulimit' is a shell built in command, it is typically documented there. (special commands that modify the shell's own environment, such as 'set', 'cd' and 'ulimit' are almost always shell builtins by necessity)

If your shell is ksh (some googling suggests it may be the default interactive shell on openbsd), try here, which does document "ulimit -n" tersely: man.openbsd.org/ksh.1

@pixelpaperyarn "oh my! there are so many kinds! and some are really pretty!!!!" just like people

TFW you changed 20 files, finally the tests pass, and now you must decide how to make small commits to make sense of this mess.
