I just finished the new Murder on the Orient Express. It wasn't great, but I will watch any movie that features an old luxury train. Plus there was some fantastic scenery!

There's a heat warning and an air pollution warning so I'm bunkered in for the day. Fortunately my landlords started the a/c at 7 am so I am luxuriating in cool air!

But my hair is silky soft.

I used a hair mask a few days ago. I'm an idiot and didn't think about how it might have coconut oil in it. Now my face is a giant pimple with eyes.

I'm homesick today. I caught a Food Network show this morning that spotlighted two restaurants I used to like back home: Salvatore's pizza (I even spotted my old apt) and the Armview Diner.

@generica I lie alllll the time to get nosy people and ppl with power over me to leave me alone. I feel zero guilt about it.

I think I overdosed on kettle corn.

Worth it.

I was gifted some of Rihanna's new Fenty cosmetics line and woah. They are the highest quality powders I've ever used. Better than NARS, better than MAC, better than Urban Decay, Tarte, TooFaced etc. And the packaging feels sturdy, too. #pleasantlysurprised

I'm slowly realizing that for me self care means doing the things I hate and put off forever. But man it feels nice when I'm done.

There are certain MeFi users whom I wish had their ability to comment on certain topics turned off. If you feel the need to ignorantly foghorn your stupid, bossy opinions and orders (wtf even?!) into threads about sensitive issues POC face, just close your browser.

@ghost I read awhile back that AM radio isn't possible on smart phones due to the size of the antenna required.
