I'm now 37 years old. Birthday was Wed. Birthdays are always a bit melancholy. Too many dark thoughts of what might have been or what I should have done with my life. Still don't feel like a proper adult. Not sure I ever will.

I've started seeing birthdays as a triumph.
@stoof @nelson Thank you both for your wishes. It wasn't anything special that day. I didn't tell anyone at work on Wed that it was my birthday because I was too deep into my own brain.
I struggle with some mental health, but I'm finding a way to keep on keeping on. Just hard sometimes when those dark thoughts creep in.

For those of us for whom keeping on is hard friggin' work, 37 is a triumph.
