@anarchiv @mikefordays yes, totally agree. What I mean is that I would be fine with
1) huge tariffs on goods, because I don't care that "markets" do well and rich people can get richer
2) every person allowed to cross borders for whatever reason

I don't disagree at all. I'm just trying to highlight how ridiculous it is that wealthy nations are able to take advantage of (exploit) economic markets/natural resources of poorer nations, while fighting so strongly against immigration from those same places. How can capital be granted free movement but not labor?

@steko @mikefordays honestly, when we choose not to let people drown in the sea just because of economic reasons, we have a bigger problem than that.
