A young man was killed by the police yesterday in Genoa. Of Ecuadorian descent, he had mental health issues and was apparently attempting suicide. His mother called the single emergency number. The police came to their apartment, with no medical staff. He tried to stab one policeman with a kitchen knife and was killed with 5 shots by another. This is the Italian version of black people being shot by the police in the USA.
