@cws Here's something you might not know about SDDI: the payments are about 25% below the federal poverty line. If you /ever/ have more than $2,000 in assets (assets, not cash) you lose that income. The government makes it literally impossible to save money and not be in poverty.

So yeah, I have friends who need help making groceries and rent sometimes. I'm happy to help because people deserve to live, and being part of society means helping each other.
