One day the burly Mastodon hurled a paper airplane across the horizon. It gently circumnavigated the globe. Mastodon's best friend, Octodon was a passenger on that paper airplane along with many other instances. Octodon loved the freedom of flying without harassment from anyone including advertisers. Octodon looked for a place to parachute off while retaining alliances to the Federation to begin building a site to invite all others to join and play. And they all lived happily ever after. #mfic

Laundry washed and folded. I feel accomplished. I haven't actually put it all away but I thought I would congratulate myself halfway.
Still struggling with the added freedom of 500 characters. Hopefully I can break this urge to write in pseudo-haiku and lament what grammar crime I'm about to commit.
It's laundry day...I have neglected the textiles that swathe me in robed splendor for far too long. These dank raunchy piles of stench I call clothes now more closely resemble crumpled kleenex and are in serious need of some true TLC and attention.
It's another beautiful day in paradise and yes it feels so good to be alive.

I found it! I really must be more organized. *sigh* sorry for the rant. thanks for letting me vent.
sticky notes, index cards, planners electronic and paper, too many passwords, notebooks in various shapes and sizes, iPad, notepad, notebook, Macbook, iPhone, cloud, this app and that, backpack, briefcase, purse, pocket, WTH did I write it or type it down? It's a never-ending nightmare!

:joy: it is an inherent quality of mine to rarely understand a good joke especially the sarcastic variety unless you raise your left hand while telling the joke so I know you are kidding. It's always been this way since I was little. It might be a blonde thing but it happened even when I dyed my hair red.
@Elex what makes you think that? Do you have suggestions for improvement?
I like the way that Mastodon is a hybrid blogging/chatting social networking platform. It is more interactive than Twitter and more globalized than Facebook. Octodon allows me to interact with a small community while still being part of a global one with privacy controls. It is the best of both worlds. It's love at first site!
