It was a sound like no other sound. A low unceasing rumbling rising and falling rhythmically. It was enough to drive a crazy person sane. Nothing could drown out the repetitive drone. Night after night, week after week, month after month, this sound had droned on.
“Honey, honey…omg please roll over.”
“Wha?”
“You’re snoring again, roll over.”
“Huh? I’m not even sleeping.”
“Yes, you were. You were snoring, now roll over.”
“Humph!”
Honey rolls over and resumes snoring. Great I sighed.

Maybe I'm dreaming. My eyes are open, which means maybe I'm awake dreaming that I'm asleep. Or, or more likely, I'm asleep dreaming that I'm awake wondering if I'm dreaming.
Hamburgers and baked potatoes-it's what's for dinner. Forgot to make the salad, but also forgot to make the brownies for desert so maybe it all balances out as a halfway healthy meal then.

One day the burly Mastodon hurled a paper airplane across the horizon. It gently circumnavigated the globe. Mastodon's best friend, Octodon was a passenger on that paper airplane along with many other instances. Octodon loved the freedom of flying without harassment from anyone including advertisers. Octodon looked for a place to parachute off while retaining alliances to the Federation to begin building a site to invite all others to join and play. And they all lived happily ever after. #mfic

#microfic challenge I'm game flash fiction in 490 characters or less. Hmmm....
Laundry washed and folded. I feel accomplished. I haven't actually put it all away but I thought I would congratulate myself halfway.
Still struggling with the added freedom of 500 characters. Hopefully I can break this urge to write in pseudo-haiku and lament what grammar crime I'm about to commit.
It's laundry day...I have neglected the textiles that swathe me in robed splendor for far too long. These dank raunchy piles of stench I call clothes now more closely resemble crumpled kleenex and are in serious need of some true TLC and attention.
It's another beautiful day in paradise and yes it feels so good to be alive.
Learning the ropes here by experimentation. Really like what I see. The Octodon empire is growing fast :)
