@julianaito I suppose a custom kernel is the next logical step since I'm already running -CURRENT, but I'll save that as a last resort. Thanks!

I want a Mega Man game where...

* You can play as Roll instead of Rock
* Two players can couch co-op as Rock and Roll
* Some levels require switching between Rock and Roll if playing solo, because their default weapons have different capabilities

That would be metal.

@catzaddy That's fine, but the only god in which I believe is Lemmy, and he's been dead a couple of years now.

As such, I look at the way most USian Christians act and I can't tell if their God is really God, and a god of love, or if they're actually worshiping Moloch or that lying angel Mastema mentioned in the apocryphal Book of Jubilees.

And, frankly, I don't give a damn. If they had the decency to keep their bullshit religion away from the government, I wouldn't have a beef with them.

@catzaddy I meant it as an acknowledgement of a right you inherently possess as a human being. I'm sorry I failed in conveying that meaning.

@catzaddy You have every right to disagree, and the interpretations you mention are interesting, but I will continue to interpret Scripture to suit MY purpose, which is to attack politicized Christianity in the US.

I guess we'll just have to do it ourselves.

I kinda wish was real. I'd love to see a bulletproof black man kick down the front door of the White House and start kicking ass.

@feld I'd rather he fucked off and left my world alone, but whatever. :)

@nicknicknicknick Can I just piss on their graves, instead? It's the only libation they deserve.

@calyanare I'd love to emulate that effect on my Thinkpad without running X11.

@starbreaker I remember visiting my mom at work in the '80s and they had amber-on-black terminals on their desks. I like to think they knew something about eyestrain, but I guess it's more likely that this was just on account of amber being the "futuristic" color back then.

@feld I'd rather think I was doing Prometheus' work. 🔥
