@jannamark I remember that too, and I remember telling advocates who tried math-shaming ME that I grokked the math, knew damned well the math favored early adopters, and wasn't getting involved because it was a ponzi scheme and there was fuck-all you could actually DO with it.
@starbreaker I remember a few years back they tried math-shaming women into adopting bitcoin. There were articles promoting the idea that the reason women weren't getting into bit coin the same way men were was that we women, with our silly little woman-brains, could not possibly understand the math behind it.
Not that we, with our precarious position in society, tend to be risk adverse, and the whole damned thing looks like a Ponzi scheme.
