Spent all morning yesterday trying to beat a particular boss in Bloodborne. Decided to have one go at it this morning before work and beat them first try. I guess I just needed a rest.

@benofbrown That was me every time. Nioh's the same way.

@starbreaker I've played this game many, many times, and most of the other bosses went down within the first few tries, but this one took so long.

I tried the alpha of Nioh and couldn't get in to it, I found the ki pulse stuff a bit too much to think about when fighting. Did I write it off too soon? Is it worth sticking with?

Matthew Graybosch @starbreaker

@benofbrown The alpha was very rough, and Team Ninja took player feedback into account produce a smoother beta and an even smoother release.

Ki pulse is kinda like HP recovery after taking a hit in . It seems like a superfluous mechanic if you're used to and , but with enough practice you'll get used to it. Likewise with stances. Most of the time you'll want low or middle stance, and switch to high stance only in specific situations.
