I'm trying out #Dreamwidth, an indie blogging service that forked the LiveJournal codebase when it went open source a few years back. I've got a personal journal at https://mgraybosch.dreamwidth.org/ now.
@starbreaker I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I actually paid for a perm LiveJournal account about 15 years ago, which I haven't bothered logging into since 2011.
@calyanare AFAIK, the alternative is WordPress, and I'd just rather not. Nor do I want to host my own blog. Too much hassle for a novelist with a day job.
